Our goal is to bring your story to life with words and characters that become irresistible.  Clients choose from a variety of services:

Client Consultation & Vision
We encourage authors and publicists to share their ideas with us so we can produce their story just the way they envisioned it.

Preparation & Research
Your story is read and researched so that pronunciations, places, regionalisms, names and dialects are fully understood. This allows the narration to flow effortlessly and accurately.

Three Minute Narration Sample
Help us select an important excerpt from your story. Before we begin recording we will supply you with a three minute narration sample so you can hear for yourself how your words come to life.  If you feel adjustments are required, we are happy to oblige with further input from you.

Abridgement
We can abridge text to fit time restrictions.

Sound Design
Whether you are looking to fade music intermittently or even add sound effects throughout, we have an inventory of sounds at our finger tips.  We can provide original music upon request.

Kristina’s passion for literature goes all the way back to first grade when she was asked by her teacher to read to the class (which ironically prohibited her from talking in class).  Having majored in Theatre and Communications from Arizona State, she performed with a troupe of performers, tailoring literature to special interest groups. At the Colony Studio Theatre, Kristina collaborated with authors and directors to originate the roles of the world premiere Kathy in “Kathy Goode,” Annie in “Naked Dancing” and Lilith in “Generations” Regional stage credits include Chris in “Rumors” (performed at the Phoenix Little Theatre), Dorine in “Tartuffe” (San Diego Repertory), and Tracy in “Philadelphia Story” (La Jolla Stage Company). Kristina trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she played Isabelle in “Measure for Measure.“ During her time with Shakespeare and Company she played Kate in “Taming of the Shrew.” At HOLA (Heart of LA) Kristina worked with at risk teens guiding them through the process of writing their personal stories.  She later directed them in their final performances for the community. She also works privately with teens in writing and performing their own mythological stories. In March 2010 she performed a live short reading of “Uncommon Clay” by Susan Vreeland. The event Speaking of Stories has become a Santa Barbara cultural tradition. Today you will find Kristina in Santa Barbara, CA, narrating, directing and producing audio books in her recording studio. Along with her husband, Steve, Kristina has raised two creative children and pursued landscape and figure painting.  When asked what motives her?  She’ll say “I just love telling stories and bringing characters to life.”

Minnesota-born Mur got her degree in business and decided that her career gigs would be all about marketing.   She spent over 20 years consulting with a variety of organizations.  The scope of her work has included sales strategy, training, marketing concepts and public speaking.  In a nutshell, she can be best described as a “solution oriented, out-of-the-box thinker.”  She is a Mom, a Grandmother, writer, producer and painter.  In 1997 she traded in long winters, ice fishing, mosquitos and hockey games for a life out west.  Living in Santa Barbara, CA she is working on a series of comedy shorts that deal with the insanity of everyday life.  Other passions include travel, photography and painting…and they are usually enjoyed as a package with a nice Sauvignon Blanc.
